Urdu Translator & Subtitle Editor

Media & Translation Team Remote friendly Flexible hours

Every week, ALRA TV discourses reach seekers in 115+ countries — but only if the words reach them in a language they understand. As our Urdu Translator & Subtitle Editor, you become the bridge: carrying the depth and nuance of the original Urdu discourses into clear, faithful English for a global audience.

What you'll do

  • Translate spiritual discourses and lectures between Urdu and English
  • Craft accurately timed subtitles for ALRA TV videos and live shows
  • Preserve the spiritual nuance and poetry of the original speech
  • Collaborate with the media team on release schedules

What you must bring

  • Urdu as your mother tongue — native command of idiom and register
  • Bachelor's degree in Urdu language (or equivalent formal study)
  • Fluent English — written and spoken
  • An ear for detail — subtitle timing, spelling, and consistency
